Personalized motion detection, analysis, and correction using artificial intelligence methods

This project focuses on tracking human body poses, which form the foundation for more complex forms such as movement. The project is based on the understanding that movement can be depicted and analysed as a series of consecutive poses. Adding elements related to movement (e.g., time/speed, changes in direction, ranges of measurement deviations, etc.) enables rigorous, and analytical monitoring of the execution of each movement. This innovative approach promises significantly more advanced movement-tracking capabilities and applications across various fields such as medicine, sports, fitness, and similar areas.

The project will be carried out through two activities: industrial research (TRL 2-4) and experimental development (TRL 5-8). The industrial research phase aims to develop a laboratory-tested software prototype that meets the planned technical specifications and commercialization goals. During this phase, the full software functionality will be tested in a laboratory environment, and AI, MR, and cyber protection elements will be incorporated. The aim of the experimental development phase is to test the prototype in a real-world environment, enabling further refinement of the software/platform and bringing it to a level of readiness for commercialization.

The main impact of the project’s results will be a contribution to the health and well-being of its users. Through the use of the newly developed platform, users will be able to qualitatively improve their habits that contribute to physical activity or recovery from injuries. The solution will be personalized and tailored to the needs of each individual user.
